Adding and Subtracting Time Durations

Working with time durations involving days, hours, minutes, and seconds can be cumbersome manually, especially when needing to carry over units (like converting 70 minutes into 1 hour and 10 minutes). This Time Calculator simplifies adding or subtracting two separate time durations.

How to Use

Calculation Logic

  1. Convert both input durations entirely into seconds.
  2. Perform the selected operation (addition or subtraction) on the total seconds.
  3. Convert the resulting total seconds back into the largest possible units (days, hours, minutes, seconds). Handle negative results appropriately if subtraction leads to a negative duration.
