Finding Your Sun Sign (Zodiac Sign)
In Western astrology, your Sun sign (often just called your "zodiac sign" or "star sign") is determined by the position of the Sun in the zodiac belt at the moment of your birth. It's considered the most basic indicator of your core personality, identity, and ego.

Cusp Dates:** If you were born on the day the Sun changes signs (the cusp), your Sun sign might technically depend on the exact birth time and year, as the transition doesn't happen exactly at midnight. This calculator uses the standard date ranges. For cusp birthdays, reading descriptions for both signs can sometimes offer insights.
Your Sun sign provides a general archetype for your fundamental character and drive in life.
